When Claudinho Meira came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Lirexus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Meira couldn't finish the play. Alex Gerber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Wiliam Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Waldir Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Jailson Camargo. Lirexus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Edson Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute.
