The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute Enrique Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Medeiros in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Eger in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmyr Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Brodel having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Giralua F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Damião to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Lanceiro AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Maicon Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Medeiros in the 41st minute of play forced Giralua F.C's goalkeeper Ernesto Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Enrique Medeiros made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Brodel. Giralua F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Eduardo Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Maicon Eger struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Christian Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giralua F.C. Maicon Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walmyr Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Brodel having to make a save. In the 61stth minute of the game Enrique Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giralua F.C's Ernesto Brodel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Brodel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lanceiro AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
