Luís Eduardo Zonta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raúl Trancoso went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Laércio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés de Moraes in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Brave Tricolor SC's Raúl Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Eduardo Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Allan Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. The supporters of Ribeirão Preto FC booed when Brave Tricolor SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Allan Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moisés de Moraes to make the kick off. Raúl Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Brave Tricolor SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ulisses Pombal hit a great ball. Jorge Luz's late challenge caught a Brave Tricolor SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Luz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ribeirão Preto FC's Jorge Luz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Allan Tepedino notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ribeirão Preto FC's Luís Eduardo Zonta. Luís Eduardo Zonta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
