Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Belmiro Pimenta kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Piranhas's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Alves came free, but Juan Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Nogueira's late challenge caught a Içara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Piranhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Pimenta in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jano Nascimento saved Içara FC from getting behind. In the 8th minute, João Adolfo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, one of Içara FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Piranhas a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Renan Magalhães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Içara FC's Jano Nascimento. 1-0. Içara FC's Jano Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Pimenta in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Içara FC's Jano Nascimento got control of the ball when Dieguinho Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valério Montenegro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Giovani Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Penha having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Belmiro Pimenta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jano Nascimento, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jano Nascimento was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Içara FC's zone, Belmiro Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Nascimento came out of the goal and Belmiro Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Içara FC's João Adolfo Brodel got a free kick in the 77th minute. With his leg Juan Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Içara FC's Giovani Mesquita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 82 minutes, Dieguinho Félix made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Içara FC's Jano Nascimento tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelson Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Belmiro Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Piranhas were the better team. Piranhas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
