Alex Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Aguiar having to interfere. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brave Tricolor SC's goalkeeper Laércio Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Waldir Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laércio Aguiar. Brave Tricolor SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldir Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Allan Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Garcia having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Terror Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Trancoso came free, but João Paulo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Tomé Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Raúl Trancoso in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With his leg João Paulo Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Brave Tricolor SC's Allan Tepedino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Brave Tricolor SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Terror Futebol Clube were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúl Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. Alex Gerber in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Laércio Aguiar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raúl Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Garcia having to interfere. Terror Futebol Clube's João Paulo Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Tepedino in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Terror Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dieguinho Leite hit a great ball. Raúl Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Allan Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Allan Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raúl Trancoso in the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Waldir Ortiz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Laércio Aguiar, passed just outside the right post. Laércio Aguiar was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Waldir Ortiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waldir Ortiz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Terror Futebol Clube's zone, Raúl Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Garcia came out of the goal and Raúl Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Paulo Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Trancoso in the 88th minute of play. Waldir Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Terror Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Terror Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
