In the 17th minute, Jorge Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Sergipano scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davi Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leopoldo Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Davi Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olavo Varela to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rômulo Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 52 played minutes BALL REAPER FC got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Nunes. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind BALL REAPER FC's goalkeeper Nilton Lucas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nilton Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Mendonça in the 57th minute of play. Nilton Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. BALL REAPER FC's Gonçalo Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Davi Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonçalo Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Figueiredo having to interfere. Jorge Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonçalo Sergipano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Davi Figueiredo made a huge save. 76 minutes into the game, BALL REAPER FC's Jorge Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gonçalo Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. When the final whistle sounded BALL REAPER FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fim de Mundo F.C..
