With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Biguassu EC's Leopoldo Corrêa got a free kick in the 26th minute. Leopoldo Corrêa's late challenge caught a Capinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. Anísio Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Capinha's Marcus Vinhas got control of the ball when Wanderson de Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Capinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Capinha's Marcus Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Capinha from getting a goal against them. Capinha's Amílton Furlan suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Leopoldo Corrêa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juninho de Azevedo got free with Anísio Paranaense in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrique de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Paranaense having to interfere. If Juninho de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Alessandro Sergipano took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anísio Paranaense to make any attempt to save it. Biguassu EC's Anísio Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Biguassu EC from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the game, Henrique de Senna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anísio Paranaense. Henrique de Senna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Juninho de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrique de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Capinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique de Senna couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Biguassu EC's goalkeeper Anísio Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho de Azevedo. If Henrique de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
