The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nilton Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rômulo Pereira in the 10th minute. Josué Oliveira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Xandy FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Oliveira in the 25th minute of play forced Anajateua's goalkeeper Nilton Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anajateua's zone, Rômulo Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Saldanha came out of the goal and Rômulo Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rômulo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Saldanha having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Xandy FC's Josué Oliveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilton Saldanha. Nilton Saldanha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Nilton Saldanha didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Rômulo Pereira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Nilton Saldanha when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rômulo Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. Xandy FC's Josué Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rômulo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Saldanha having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Josué Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilton Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Josué Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Saldanha having to interfere. With 75 minutes on the clock, Gerson França commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anajateua! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Xandy FC. Rômulo Pereira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nilton Saldanha. 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Almir Amaral during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Josué Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rômulo Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anajateua's Nilton Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rômulo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 97 minutes of play, Xandy FC's Rômulo Pereira made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Josué Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Nilton Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
