Dadá dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Jatal EC's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Oliveira came free, but Tiago Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Xandy FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Francisco Fonseca hit a great ball. Josué Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Xandy FC's Reinaldo Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Xandy FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 64 minutes, Josué Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xandy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Edmílson Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Benjamin Toscano made a precise shot to the right of Reinaldo Furlan. Xandy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Reinaldo Furlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tiago Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Fonseca in the 88th minute of play. If Josué Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The Xandy FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jatal EC to win.
