Paulo Renato Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Artur do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Corinthians Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur do Valle couldn't finish the play. Wanderson de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Carlinhos Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Biguassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Corrêa. Nando Brodel shot from long distance in the 22nd minute, but Anísio Paranaense was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 23rd minute, Paulo Renato Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Artur do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anísio Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur do Valle in the 34th minute of the match. Biguassu EC's Paulo Renato Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlinhos Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Renato Camargo went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carlinhos Donatello came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Biguassu EC's Wanderson de Almeida. But to his dismay, Wanderson de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Renato Camargo made a kick off. Paulo Renato Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Carlinhos Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biguassu EC's Wanderson de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Corinthians Esporte Clube booed when Biguassu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Luís Fabiano Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robinho Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlinhos Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Wanderson de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Biguassu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson de Almeida couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute Paulo Renato Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Artur do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
