Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beto Rezende started the match with the kick off. If Léo Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Carlos Eduardo Aguiar made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto da Cunha. Vermelhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Unahy SS's Léo Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Augusto da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Augusto da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Léo Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Vermelhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dênis Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34thth minute of the game Léo Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vermelhos's João Augusto da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Unahy SS fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Unahy SS's Carlos Eduardo Aguiar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eduardo Aguiar got free with João Augusto da Cunha in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Salgado to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Rezende in the 52nd minute of play forced Unahy SS's goalkeeper Dênis Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. João Augusto da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Eduardo Aguiar took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto da Cunha. João Augusto da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Dênis Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Rezende in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Unahy SS's Duarte Leal got a free kick in the 65th minute. Dênis Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademar Velloso in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Vermelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Salgado came free, but João Augusto da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Léo Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Haroldo Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unahy SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vermelhos the free kick. In the 80th minute, one of Unahy SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unahy SS. Unahy SS:s Dênis Borges showed great skill when he stopped Anderson Maia:s penalty. After 83 minutes, Eusébio Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unahy SS and the Vermelhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Unahy SS got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Marques. After a defensive mix-up in Vermelhos's zone, Carlos Eduardo Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto da Cunha came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Carlos Eduardo Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Augusto da Cunha was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Léo Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unahy SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Léo Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Unahy SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
