Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sílvio Luís Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sílvio Luís Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Edvaldo Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Gerber having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Maquina Quente FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Berger. When Fábio Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cucui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Fernandão Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Hoffmann in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Hoffmann in the 24th minute of play forced Maquina Quente FC's goalkeeper Fernandão Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abel Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandão Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Hoffmann in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Alfredão de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Maquina Quente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Cucui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luís Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Vargas having to interfere. In the 45th minute Fábio Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maquina Quente FC's Alfredão de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cucui! When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Maquina Quente FC's Henrique Teixeira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edvaldo Vargas. In the 65th minute, Paulo Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Ademar de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Alfredão de Amorim got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cucui's Vítor Hoffmann got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Vítor Hoffmann off the ground. In the 89th minute, Alfredão de Amorim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Washington Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
