Gregorio FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gregorio FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucas Guimarães 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Lucas Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Luiz Fábio Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Júpiter FC. 18 minutes into the match, Gregorio FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Araújo. With a little luck, Gregorio FC's Luiz Fábio Xavier got control of the ball when Jacinto Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Guimarães kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fábio Xavier. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Lucas Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Guimarães in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Gregorio FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Araújo. Ramiro Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Veiga came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Gregorio FC's Deivid Soeiro. But to his dismay, Deivid Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Deivid Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ramiro Borges came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Gregorio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Borges couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Júpiter FC's Lucas Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fábio Xavier narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Guimarães to make the kick off. Gregorio FC's Luiz Fábio Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Araújo in the 52nd minute of play. Lucas Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Xavier having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Guimarães in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jacinto Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Ramiro Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Gregorio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Araújo came free, but Luiz Fábio Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramiro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Júpiter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Faria to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Araújo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fábio Xavier. Luiz Fábio Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Deivid Soeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Veiga having to make a save. A collision led to Júpiter FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cauã Faria hit a great ball. Ramiro Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Veiga having to interfere. Júpiter FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Ramiro Borges scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Veiga, making the score, 3-2. Júpiter FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
