Fernandinho de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Veiga came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Safira FC's Fernandinho de Brito. But to his dismay, Fernandinho de Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandinho de Brito made a kick off. Erasmo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho de Brito in the 58th minute of play. Safira FC's Fernandinho de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Onbera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Araújo in the 66th minute. Erasmo Veiga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Safira FC's Fernandinho de Brito shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Fernandinho de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Veiga having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, José Pedro Pires notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Júpiter FC's Erasmo Veiga. The Safira FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Safira FC's Fernandinho de Brito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Erasmo Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Pires in the 95th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, José Pedro Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Safira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Safira FC fully deserved thier win.
