Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Guilherme do Vale got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, José Maria Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, José Maria Ramos lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Emílio Peixoto. In the 9th minute, Diogo Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Emílio Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Ramos in the 24th minute of the match. Petróleo EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dida Koehler in the 26th minute. José Maria Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Maria Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Simão Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that José Maria Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio Peixoto was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, José Maria Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emílio Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Ramos made a kick off. Emílio Peixoto came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Petróleo EC's José Maria Ramos. But to his dismay, José Maria Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Cristóvão Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Emílio Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Sanches acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Umberto Rosado. In the 69th minute, Elite FC's Kauã Amorim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeu Sanches. Amadeu Sanches yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Luiz Guilherme do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Petróleo EC's José Maria Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes Elite FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dida Koehler who took care of the corner kick. José Maria Ramos struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Emílio Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petróleo EC. Simão Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Peixoto having to interfere. Simão Vaz lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 89 minutes into the game, one of Petróleo EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Elite FC booed when Petróleo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeu Sanches acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 98th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Luís Cerezo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Petróleo EC had won after a very even match.
