Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rogério Amaral made the kick off which started today's match. Zeca Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Sarmento in the 3rd minute. When Dé Silva fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raso SS's protests and gave Dé Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Dé Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Zeca Souto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baltazar Aguiar. Ricardinho Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Renato Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Laércio Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raso SS's protests and gave Laércio Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. Laércio Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game Baltazar Aguiar kicked a great long shot which passed Zeca Souto straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-0. One couldn't see Baltazar Aguiar behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Renato Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermo EC's Ricardinho Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Amaral in the 27th minute of play. Ricardinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Freitas in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Raso SS's zone, Iuri Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Souto came out of the goal and Iuri Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes, Ermo EC's Baltazar Aguiar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeca Souto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ermo EC reached it. Zeca Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iuri Sousa's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Dé Silva was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dé Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Zeca Souto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baltazar Aguiar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iuri Sousa made a kick off. Ermo EC's Jarbas Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Renato Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Iuri Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesinha Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Abreu having to interfere. When Bernardinho Matos fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ermo EC's protests and gave Bernardinho Matos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Raso SS booed when Ermo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Cesinha Freitas could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Ricardinho Abreu however easily saved by the left post. Zeca Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Sousa in the 85th minute of play. Renato Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
