Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Fabinho Capixaba made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Raso SS's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Trancoso came free, but Zeca Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeca Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Cordeiro in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Válter Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabinho Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Zeca Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Válter Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Oséas Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Souto having to interfere. Jacinto Pernambucano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeca Souto. Raso SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Refugio EC's Lino Brito got control of the ball when Cesinha Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Refugio EC's goalkeeper Lino Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesinha Freitas. A collision led to Refugio EC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oséas Trancoso hit a great ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Fabinho Capixaba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raso SS's Zeca Souto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Raso SS's Luiz Eduardo Nogueira got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Cordeiro in the 36th minute of play forced Raso SS's goalkeeper Zeca Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dé Silva fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raso SS's protests and gave Dé Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Raso SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Silva to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válter Cordeiro in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeca Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Válter Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Raso SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabinho Capixaba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Fabinho Capixaba put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zeca Souto. 66 minutes into the match, Válter Cordeiro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Raso SS's Zeca Souto. Zeca Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Válter Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Refugio EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Válter Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeca Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inácio Hoffmann hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The long shot by Fernando Moura in the 78th minute really tested Zeca Souto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Válter Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Refugio EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Válter Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Raso SS's zone, Fabinho Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Souto came out of the goal and Fabinho Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Válter Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Raso SS fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Raso SS's Rogério Amaral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Refugio EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
