The ball had pretty good speed, but Afonso Campidelis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Super Mario ECR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Leandro de Moraes scored to the left of an out of position Afonso Campidelis, making the score, 1-0. Severino Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Super Mario ECR's zone, Leandro de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Campidelis came out of the goal and Leandro de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manoel de Andrade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateus Alvarenga. aagoncalez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Afonso Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bertassi in the 30th minute of play forced Super Mario ECR's goalkeeper Afonso Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leandro de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the aagoncalez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro de Moraes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Tróia in the 39th minute of play forced aagoncalez's goalkeeper Mateus Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Super Mario ECR's Doni Almeida made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Alvarenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Leandro de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Afonso Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Adilson Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Leandro de Moraes sped through Super Mario ECR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Afonso Campidelis. In the 67th minute Severino Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Super Mario ECR's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro de Moraes came free, but Afonso Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, aagoncalez's Severino Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When aagoncalez's Leandro de Moraes in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Super Mario ECR's goalie prevented a goal. Mateus Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Tróia in the 74th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Leandro de Moraes made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Super Mario ECR's Afonso Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Bertassi in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Campidelis saved Super Mario ECR from getting behind. Leandro de Moraes scored 8-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Severino Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Campidelis. Super Mario ECR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Bertassi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Afonso Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Bertassi in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. aagoncalez fully deserved thier win.
