Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iuri Sousa started the match with the kick off. Iuri Sousa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Paulista in the 7th minute of play forced Green Bay FC's goalkeeper Mário de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jarbas Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Jarbas Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Bay FC's Marco Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arí Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ricardinho Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Martins in the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Ermo EC got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Salgado. Marco Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Abreu having to interfere. Renato Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mário de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário de Andrade having to interfere. Arí Aguiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardinho Abreu having to make a save. A collision led to Ermo EC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aírton Paulista hit a great ball. Marco Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardinho Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Martins made a kick off. Arí Aguiar in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardinho Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renato Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mário de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marco Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Bay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ermo EC defense, Arí Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardinho Abreu. The Ermo EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Abreu should have stopped the shot. When Ademir Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Bay FC's protests and gave Ademir Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. Mário de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, one of Ermo EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ermo EC. Marco Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardinho Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. If Arí Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mário de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Sarmento went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Green Bay FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
