Cary Fortin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Couto went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eurico da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico Toscano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Abel Mello scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Pedro Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Pedro Arce made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Eurico da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. When Francisco do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Datas SS's protests and gave Francisco do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Datas SS got a freekick which was hit by Francisco do Valle. Eurico da Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Zé Pedro Arce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Datas SS got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Toscano. In the 33rd minute of the match Ronaldinho Gol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Pedro Arce skillfully saved the ball. Eurico da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Zé Pedro Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Valqueire. After a rather tough play, Datas SS's Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a good free kick, Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Inter Valqueire. In the 40th minute of the match Francisco do Valle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cary Fortin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Sebastião Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cary Fortin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Lima during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Datas SS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Claudinho Lima hit a great ball. Zé Pedro Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Mello in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Inter Valqueire's Abel Mello in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Datas SS's goalie prevented a goal. After 54 played minutes Datas SS got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Lima. 59 minutes into the match, Datas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Mello came free, but Zé Pedro Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Zé Pedro Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Marquez hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Inter Valqueire's Ronaldinho Gol tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sebastião Couto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cary Fortin came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastião Couto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 68th minute. Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cary Fortin having to interfere. Zé Pedro Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico da Fonseca in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho got free with Cary Fortin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico da Fonseca in the 91st minute of play forced Datas SS's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eurico da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Zé Pedro Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Mello in the 95th minute of the match. Eurico da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Pedro Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Datas SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
