After 19 minutes, Flávio Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Name and the Giga Mix F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Flávio Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elder Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Name fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Elder Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Valdemar do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind New Name's goalkeeper Valdemar do Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Abreu in the 77th minute of play forced New Name's goalkeeper Valdemar do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giga Mix F.C's Ricardo Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga do Nascimento in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Marco Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giga Mix F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
