Datas SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Geovânio Prado scored to the left of an out of position Zé Pedro Arce, making the score, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Teodoro da Silva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro da Silva got free with Zé Pedro Arce in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Mecazika EC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Couto came free, but Simão Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Sebastião Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Sá. Mecazika EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 21st minute, Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Zé Pedro Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Prado in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Sebastião Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mecazika EC's Geovânio Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedro Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovânio Prado to make the kick off. A collision led to Datas SS getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Felipe Marquez hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Pena, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Datas SS's Eurico Toscano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simão Sá. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the match, Mecazika EC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Marquez came free, but Simão Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Datas SS's Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Marcel Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mecazika EC and the Datas SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simão Sá made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Mecazika EC's goalkeeper Simão Sá had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josué Alvarenga during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Mecazika EC got a freekick which was hit by Josué Alvarenga. Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Datas SS's Sebastião Couto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simão Sá. Simão Sá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 91st minute, Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Datas SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
