Spectators: 6444 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amauri Cearense started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes in the game, Amauri Cearense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vitinho de Sousa having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Romário Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luisiania EC and the Avanzzeira F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Luisiania EC got a freekick which was hit by Romário Vieira. In the 8th minute, Serginho Carneiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vitinho de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Serginho Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Luisiania EC defense, Amauri Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitinho de Sousa. The Luisiania EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitinho de Sousa should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Amauri Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Luisiania EC's Orlando Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Glauco Tasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glauco Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas das Neves in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Nestor Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Baiano, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Avanzzeira F.C's Glauco Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas das Neves in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Enéas das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Enéas das Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Tasso was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Jânio Loyola's late challenge caught a Luisiania EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Avanzzeira F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Garcia took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Tasso. Glauco Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Avanzzeira F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luisiania EC were winning 1-3.

When Maurinho Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luisiania EC's protests and gave Maurinho Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. Agostinho Guedes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vitinho de Sousa. Luisiania EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Avanzzeira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas das Neves came free, but Glauco Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Glauco Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Tasso made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Orlando Garcia sent off a good shot on target. If Orlando Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glauco Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enéas das Neves's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Serginho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho de Sousa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas das Neves in the 69th minute of play forced Avanzzeira F.C's goalkeeper Glauco Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maurinho Maciel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Maurinho Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Enéas das Neves hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Orlando Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Luisiania EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Garcia couldn't finish the play. Orlando Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Netto's late challenge caught a Luisiania EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Netto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Avanzzeira F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Netto to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Avanzzeira F.C's goalkeeper Glauco Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Garcia. Orlando Garcia in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Glauco Tasso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romário Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Enéas das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Orlando Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
