Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Arapiraca FC's Isaltino Pena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Nicolas Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. Gilson Mandrak came out of the goal and Luciano Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilson Mandrak having to make a save. Luciano Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilson Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Aparecido in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Biologistas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Víktor Marquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Luciano Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Pena in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Batista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaltino Pena struck a weak shot in the 95th minute.
