The audience thought a goal was coming when Víktor Marquez got free with Zacarias Elivareo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Soares's late challenge caught a Henry FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Soares helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Arapiraca FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Soares. Gilson Mandrak came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Henry FC's Richard Gomes. But to his dismay, Richard Gomes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Hudson Faria came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Henry FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hudson Faria couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Arapiraca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Faria came free, but Gilson Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Henry FC's Severino Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson Mandrak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jânio de Lara hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Fabrício Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Henry FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hudson Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hudson Faria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilson Mandrak. The goal made the score 0-4. The supporters of Henry FC booed when Arapiraca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arapiraca FC's goalkeeper Gilson Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hudson Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Richard Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Valdo Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henry FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st of the match, Hudson Faria tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gilson Mandrak got in the way and made a wonderful save. Severino Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
