Luisiania EC's Vitinho de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Luisiania EC from getting a goal against them. Doriva Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vitinho de Sousa made a huge save. Doriva Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho de Sousa having to interfere. The supporters of Luisiania EC booed when Palestra Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball.
