Vitório Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Marcelinho Cardoso scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitório Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vitório Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisão Meirelles went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Atlético Lucena FC's Luizinho Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Lucena FC from getting a goal against them. Rafinha de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Luisão Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitório Senna. Uomaloli AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Luisão Meirelles took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório Senna. Vitório Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Vitório Senna came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Lucena FC's Ruy Quadros. But to his dismay, Ruy Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Marcelinho Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Atlético Lucena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelinho Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Vítor Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vitório Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruy Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafinha de Lima was the one to do the kick off. Marcelinho Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitório Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelinho Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelinho Cardoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Vitório Senna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vitório Senna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruy Quadros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 60 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mauro da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 64 in the game by Marcelinho Cardoso from a close distance when the talented Vitório Senna managed to make a qualified save. Uomaloli AD's players were relieved. Marcelinho Cardoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Vitório Senna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Marcelinho Cardoso sped through Uomaloli AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vitório Senna. Marcelinho Cardosos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Vitório Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benê Meireles's late challenge caught a Atlético Lucena FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benê Meireles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Uomaloli AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Marcelinho Cardosos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Vitório Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atlético Lucena FC's Vítor Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcelinho Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Atlético Lucena FC fans jumped to their feet. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Uomaloli AD's Vitório Senna got control of the ball when Marcelinho Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético Lucena FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
