After 8 played minutes Santanesia got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Soeiro. 11 minutes into the game, Evandro Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jailson Berger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dida Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Berger having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Santanesia's Evandro Figueiredo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caio Ortiz was a little too slow when Gilmar Vale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Lúcio Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Berger having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Evandro Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santanesia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dida Linares struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jailson Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santanesia. Jailson Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Dida Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santanesia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Evandro Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Santanesia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Vale in the 40th minute of play forced Santanesia's goalkeeper Caio Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Gilmar Vale made a precise shot to the right of Caio Ortiz. Santanesia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Santanesia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danilo Carvalho in the 48th minute. It was a well-played corner which João Vítor Novaes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute of the match Tiago Gabriel Falcão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jailson Berger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Evandro Figueiredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Jailson Berger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Raffas Sport Clube's Jailson Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Linares in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Gilmar Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Silveira in the 64th minute of play. Caio Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Berger was a little too slow when Dida Linares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-4. 73 minutes into the game, Evandro Figueiredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jailson Berger. Evandro Figueiredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. In the 78th minute, Adalberto Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork Evandro Figueiredo arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-6 by the left pole in the game's 83rd minute. Santanesia's Evandro Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro Figueiredo came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jailson Berger could save by the left post. The Raffas Sport Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santanesia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
