Expressinho-ES F.C's Alfredão de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Vinhas in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Guga Vander notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Celeste FC's Patrick Miranda. Patrick Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Celeste FC's Gino Loureiro got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Expressinho-ES F.C's Guga Vander in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 26th minute, Guga Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Guga Vander came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Expressinho-ES F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Vander couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Dráuzio Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celeste FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sidnei Lopes in the 35th minute. After taking down the ball on Celeste FC's corner Sidnei Lopes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredão de Queiroz quite easily take care of the ball. Guga Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Vander in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Miranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Expressinho-ES F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráuzio Vinhas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Vinhas in the 54th minute of play forced Expressinho-ES F.C's goalkeeper Alfredão de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Expressinho-ES F.C's Guga Vander in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 63 played minutes Celeste FC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Messias. 66 minutes into the match, Guga Vander notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Celeste FC's Patrick Miranda. Patrick Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guga Vander struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Patrick Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expressinho-ES F.C. Guga Vander in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Miranda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Narciso Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Guga Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Miranda was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Celeste FC's Gino Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Expressinho-ES F.C's Alfredão de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Vinhas in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Expressinho-ES F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Celeste FC.
