A collision led to Raffas Sport Clube getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Arí Koehler hit a great ball. Arí Urbano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Raffas Sport Clube's Jailson Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Vinhas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Haroldo Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Raffas Sport Clube defense, Gino Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jailson Berger. The Raffas Sport Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jailson Berger should have stopped the shot. When Gino Loureiro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celeste FC's protests and gave Gino Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Raffas Sport Clube booed when Celeste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilmar Vale was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Gilmar Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Raffas Sport Clube getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Haroldo Travassos hit a great ball. If Gilmar Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Miranda having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Silveira got free with Patrick Miranda in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Travassos struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Patrick Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raffas Sport Clube. Dráuzio Vinhas's late challenge caught a Raffas Sport Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráuzio Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Celeste FC's Dráuzio Vinhas got a free kick in the 75th minute. Igor Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Custódio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Arí Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raffas Sport Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Dráuzio Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Berger having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raffas Sport Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Celeste FC.
