Rafa Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Lucena FC's Luisão Meirelles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitório Senna. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. If Ruy Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute, Marcelinho Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uomaloli AD's Vitório Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Uomaloli AD from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Cardoso lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Vitório Senna. The wind increased when Rafinha de Lima made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho Cardoso in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório Senna saved Uomaloli AD from getting behind. If Rafinha de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Ruy Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Lucena FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
