Dida Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Miranda having to interfere. Almir Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the match was over Santanesia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Celeste FC throughout the match.
