A collision led to Beco Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Olavo Paulista hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Edgar Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sebastião Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Vitório Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beco Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Fatec Campinas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Negri came free, but Raphael Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitório Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Raphael Dracena made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Pimenta in the 40th minute of play forced Beco Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sebastião Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Messias in the 42nd minute of the match. When Edmílson Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beco Futebol Clube's protests and gave Edmílson Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Beco Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Ferraz. Tomás Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Faria having to interfere. Edgar Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Sebastião Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fatec Campinas F.C. After the first half Fatec Campinas F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Messias to make the kick off. Vitório Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Dracena having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Beco Futebol Clube's Gláuber Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raphael Dracena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A beautiful save bye Beco Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Beco Futebol Clube's zone, Tomás Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Faria came out of the goal and Tomás Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Raphael Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Messias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Sebastião Faria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Messias in the 84th minute of play forced Beco Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Sebastião Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fatec Campinas F.C's Paulo José Fernandez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Tomás Messias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastião Faria came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Messias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 96th minute.
