Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fiori Guedes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Rubens Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercenários FC's protests and gave Rubens Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Sandro Senna scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrézinho da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho da Costa having to interfere. Vladimir Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Cambaras's Sandro Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrézinho da Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cambaras reached it. Ruy Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Pedro Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercenários FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruy Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Peres went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Luís Gustavo Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Rubens Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, Mercenários FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Messias to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Edvaldo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Pedro Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercenários FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 53 minutes, Edvaldo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edvaldo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fiori Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrézinho da Costa was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Cambaras's Edvaldo Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho da Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dudu Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mercenários FC's Pedro Peres in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cambaras's goalie prevented a goal. Edvaldo Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fiori Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mercenários FC's Giovanni Perez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Andrézinho da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cambaras! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Mercenários FC. Giovanni Perez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruy Prestes. 1-2. The Cambaras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mercenários FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mercenários FC.
