When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Messias made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Catuira's Chiquinho Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raphael Dracena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Catuira's Edmílson Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Messias in the 60th minute of play. Edmílson Cosme made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Bernardo Valadares sent off a good shot on target. Dalmo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Chiquinho Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmo Chaves during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
