Spectators: 6495 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 7) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Osvaldo Camargo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Danilo Linares in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Natus CF's goalie prevented a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Danilo Linares notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Natus CF's Edinho Neves. Edinho Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ernani Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Camargo in the 17th minute of the match. Edinho Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Lopez in the 25th minute of play. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ernani Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Camargo in the 27th minute of play. Durvalino Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Edinho Neves came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Danilo Linares. But to his dismay, Danilo Linares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 35thth minute of the game Durvalino Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Natus CF's Edinho Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eurico Velasco's late challenge caught a Natus CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eurico Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Eurico Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ernani Pena made a huge save. If Durvalino Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Danilo Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durvalino Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Natus CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's Durvalino Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edinho Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Linares's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Durvalino Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Danilo Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Danilo Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinho Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Linares in the 80th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Natus CF's zone, Danilo Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Neves came out of the goal and Danilo Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Durvalino Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Edinho Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Danilo Linares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC WASH FUTEBOL CLUBE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
