In the 15th minute, Sidnei Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PQL F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Nestor Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOLINHO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 30 played minutes BOLINHO FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Recife. After a rather tough play, BOLINHO FC's Ezequiel Albuquerque got a free kick in the 31st minute. Lenílson Godoi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 38thth minute. Though ot was a great shot PQL F.C.'s keeper José Maria Eger was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Nestor Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, PQL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Custódio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Lenílson Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidnei Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, BOLINHO FC's goalkeeper Ivo Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Faria. Ian Faria in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivo Carvalho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. BOLINHO FC's Lenílson Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to PQL F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dida Mendes hit a great ball. Nestor Custódio might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Custódio ran back to his position shaking his head. PQL F.C.'s José Maria Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Godoi in the 75th minute of play. José Maria Eger didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BOLINHO FC's Lenílson Godoi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 99 minutes into the match, Nestor Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Maria Eger. PQL F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. BOLINHO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
