After a rather tough play, BOLINHO FC's Adilson Bueno got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Natus CF's Edinho Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Albuquerque in the 25th minute of play. Edinho Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edinho Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Custódio's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, BOLINHO FC's Lenílson Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 60 minutes, Ezequiel Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOLINHO FC and the Natus CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ezequiel Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, Natus CF's Osvaldo Camargo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nestor Custódio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edinho Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Nestor Custódio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Nestor Custódio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Neves was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Luiz Fabiano Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Lenílson Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Edinho Neves made a huge save.
