Dida Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dida Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, PQL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Armandinho Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute Abelardo Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forkcity F. C. were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after PQL F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Maria Diniz took the corner. Abelardo Varela made a great header on Forkcity F. C.'s corner, it was just that PQL F.C.'s José Maria Eger managed to reach the ball for a save. If Dida Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Forkcity F. C.'s zone, Ian Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Soeiro came out of the goal and Ian Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Forkcity F. C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PQL F.C. for a fine match.
