In the 6th minute Ronaldo Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Venesa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Guedes came free, but Antônio Carlos Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Brodel made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Edvaldo Vander sent off a good shot on target. After 12 minutes, Luís Gustavo Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cambaras and the Venesa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cambaras's Luís Gustavo Zanette got a free kick in the 13th minute. With his leg Antônio Carlos Brodel managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Cambaras's Edvaldo Vander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elias Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Cambaras's Fiori Guedes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Fiori Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Prestes having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Cambaras's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Alves came free, but Ruy Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Gustavo Zanette hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Guedes in the 37th minute of play forced Venesa FC's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edvaldo Vander came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cambaras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Vander couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cambaras getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Belmiro de Senna hit a great ball. Antônio Carlos Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Guedes in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson da Rocha made a kick off. Luís Gustavo Zanette hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes, Cambaras's Sandro Senna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Brodel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cambaras reached it. Luís Gustavo Zanette scored 2-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antônio Carlos Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th match minute, Cambaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Fontes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Fiori Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Antônio Carlos Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venesa FC's Elias Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Luís Gustavo Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cambaras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
