Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Matías Terra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Turiassu's zone, Matías Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani Valle came out of the goal and Matías Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Turiassu's Augusto Macedo got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Falcão in the 16th minute of play forced Turiassu's goalkeeper Geovani Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 17 in the game by Zé Carlos Meireles from a close distance when the talented Michel Castro managed to make a qualified save. MARANATA's players were relieved. Luís Fabiano Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Valle having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, MARANATA's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Valladares came free, but Michel Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Castro came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Turiassu's Alan Valladares. But to his dismay, Alan Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 32 played minutes MARANATA got a freekick which was hit by Dênis do Nascimento. When Zé Carlos Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Turiassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Meireles couldn't finish the play. In the 35th match minute, MARANATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fabiano Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Geovani Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Alan Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes MARANATA got a freekick which was hit by Dário Prado. Zé Carlos Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Dorival Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARANATA and the Turiassu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dorival Ramos hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Walmir Barral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 50th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Castro. MARANATA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Michel Castro came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Turiassu's Alan Valladares. But to his dismay, Alan Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zé Carlos Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Michel Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Turiassu's Alan Valladares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Zé Carlos Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Michel Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of MARANATA booed when Turiassu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Turiassu's Geovani Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Terra in the 69th minute of play. Zé Carlos Meireles hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Luís Fabiano Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, MARANATA's Matías Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovani Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Matías Terra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovani Valle. The goal made the score 3-1. Zé Carlos Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Michel Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MARANATA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Antony Dias hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, MARANATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Michel Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Turiassu's Zé Carlos Meireles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michel Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
