If Dudu Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Dark Winterfell got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Pena. Dagoberto Sabóias short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Antônio Novaes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Faustão da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Cardoso in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Dark Winterfell got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Dantas. Paris Saint Germain's Dagoberto Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kiko Braga's late challenge caught a Paris Saint Germain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Braga helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Dark Winterfell got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Braga. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Cardoso during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dark Winterfell's Dito Cardoso got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Ediberto Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Aníbal de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paris Saint Germain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Winterfell the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Aníbal de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ediberto Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dito Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão da Silva having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osmar Dracena during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Paris Saint Germain got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Dracena. Dito Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Faustão da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dudu Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Cardoso made a kick off. Dagoberto Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Osmar Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustão da Silva made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ediberto Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Ediberto Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dark Winterfell's Antônio Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Sabóia in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Dagoberto Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, one of Dark Winterfell:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dark Winterfell. 76 minutes into the game, André Luiz Cearense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Antônio Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustão da Silva came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Winterfell's Ediberto Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Ediberto Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The Paris Saint Germain players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
