Antônio Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Celsinho Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EC Bahia's protests and gave Celsinho Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Celsinho Godoi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Antônio Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Reis in the 18th minute of the match. Danilo Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Váldson Velloso during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, EC Bahia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Dito Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. Franklin Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franklin Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Jacinto having to interfere. Dark Winterfell's Dito Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dito Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Dark Winterfell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Marco Jacinto came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Dark Winterfell's Dito Cardoso. But to his dismay, Dito Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Antônio Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Antônio Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Loureiro in the 75th minute of play. Duarte Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Dito Cardoso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dito Cardoso got free with Marco Jacinto in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franklin Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The EC Bahia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dark Winterfell's performance. The match ended with a win for Dark Winterfell.
