Téo Mineiro started the match with the kick off. Os cavalões's Gilson Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Mineiro in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Os cavalões getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. William Ferreira hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Os cavalões's zone, Téo Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilson Severo came out of the goal and Téo Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Os cavalões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庞洋坤 to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Téo Mineiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Os cavalões's Gilson Severo. Gilson Severo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Os cavalões's Natã Fernandes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Hoffmann. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. Eurico dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Mineiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Os cavalões's goalkeeper Gilson Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Raphael Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportiva Guarabira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilson Severo having to make a save. After 28 minutes, Téo Mineiro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Os cavalões's Gilson Severo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Os cavalões's William Ferreira pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cipriano Sá fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desportiva Guarabira's protests and gave Cipriano Sá a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Cipriano Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desportiva Guarabira's Marcos Hoffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Desportiva Guarabira from getting a goal against them. Marcos Hoffmann had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Natã Fernandes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 46 minutes into the game, Téo Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gilson Severo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natã Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. If Natã Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marcos Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Os cavalões's Evaristo Cesario was substituted for Eurico dos Santos. Marcos Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Cesario in the 65th minute of the match. Marcos Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natã Fernandes's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Natã Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Os cavalões got a freekick which was hit by Natã Fernandes. In the 72nd minute, Téo Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Evaristo Cesario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Hoffmann. Desportiva Guarabira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Cesario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Os cavalões's Evaristo Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Desportiva Guarabira players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Os cavalões from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
