Váldson Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Matías Terra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Jacinto. Matías Terra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 46th minute, Fábio Reis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC Bahia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Reis was the one to do the kick off.
