Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Den Newland started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Keanu Ely. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Connor Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Connor Wright was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Newland in the 12th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Wright having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Hudson in the 17th minute of play. Den Newland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Den Newland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Keanu Ely got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brett Leeson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 26th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Connor Wright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Louis Hudson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Den Newland during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Den Newland to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nathanial Alsford hit a great ball. When Barr Point's Den Newland in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Den Newland, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Den Newland in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Brett Leeson. After 43 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Vernon Messenger. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Chris Mergenthaler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Connor Wright was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barr Point's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Connor Wright came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Den Newland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Connor Wright read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Germany got a corner. Barr Point's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Germany's Linus Schwerner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Connor Wright in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. The supporters of Barr Point booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Newland in the 83rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Den Newland. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Barr Point's Connor Wright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 95th minute of play.
