Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Domingues in the 4th minute of play forced Capinas AD's goalkeeper Elivélton Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Evandro Domingues notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Capinas AD's Elivélton Porto. Elivélton Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Evandro Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Marambaia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Domingues couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Abel Baptista suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Ulisses de Lima's late challenge caught a Capinas AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Capinas AD booed when Marambaia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, one of Marambaia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marambaia FC. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Capinas AD's Hernani Rodrigues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Albertinho de Lima. Nestor Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Zeca Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marambaia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capinas AD the free kick. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Narciso Capixaba sped through Capinas AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elivélton Porto. Emanuel Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho de Lima having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Narciso Capixaba made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Capinas AD's Elivélton Porto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Capinas AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marambaia FC were winning 1-3.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Sabóia during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Capinas AD got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Sabóia. In the 56th match minute, Marambaia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Elivélton Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marambaia FC. Evandro Domingues's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elivélton Porto firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Capinas AD getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hernani Rodrigues hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Marambaia FC's Romeu Penha tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Evandro Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elivélton Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play Capinas AD's Emanuel Sabóia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Marambaia FC booed when Capinas AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Evandro Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evandro Domingues in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elivélton Porto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Olavo de Almeida scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albertinho de Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 played minutes Capinas AD got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Macedo. Evandro Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Porto having to interfere. Evandro Dominguess short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Elivélton Porto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
