Valdir Sabóia came out of the goal and José Carlos Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdir Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Carlos Marques went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Reynaldo Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Figueiredo in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Mauro Figueiredo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tupirama's Reynaldo Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Reynaldo Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Santos in the 28th minute of the match. After the first half Pirenopolis AD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Agnaldo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Campidelis came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirenopolis AD's Mauro Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Mauro Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Tupirama's Reynaldo Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo da Mata in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Agnaldo da Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Campidelis was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A collision led to Tupirama getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mauro Figueiredo took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Campidelis. Reynaldo Campidelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 92nd minute, Benê de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Sabóia having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Figueiredo got free with Reynaldo Campidelis in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Tupirama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pirenopolis AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
