Cauan Pitta's late challenge caught a Meu cacete FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Pitta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Meu cacete FC booed when real fortaleza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdomiro Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cauan Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeu de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fellipe Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real fortaleza. Osmar Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Penha in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Barros got free with Fellipe Medeiros in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Medeiros having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Sílvio Luiz Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in real fortaleza's zone, Valdomiro Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Neto came out of the goal and Valdomiro Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdomiro Penha made a kick off. With a little luck, real fortaleza's Osmar Neto got control of the ball when Marcos da Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Iuri Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored real fortaleza's protests and gave Iuri Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to real fortaleza getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Iuri Sergipano hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Eriberto Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meu cacete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdomiro Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fellipe Medeiros came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by real fortaleza's Romeu de Queiroz. But to his dismay, Romeu de Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cauan Pitta struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Fellipe Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for real fortaleza. Osmar Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Penha in the 77th minute. Marcos da Silveira in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osmar Neto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marcel Xavier hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in real fortaleza's zone, Valdomiro Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Neto came out of the goal and Valdomiro Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. real fortaleza were victorious despite being under pressure from Meu cacete FC for much of the match.
