Valdo Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marco Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caiuba's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lauro Fernandes 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Lauro Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Marco Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mulekes FC. 13 minutes into the game, Mulekes FC's Lauro Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Sampaio in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Vitório de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valdo Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Mulekes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Sampaio couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Lauro Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Luiz Paulo do Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Mulekes FC's Luís Gustavo de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo do Nascimento in the 24th minute of play. Caiuba's Marco Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório de Alcântara in the 26th minute of play. Mulekes FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Valdo Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdo Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Mulekes FC's Lauro Fernandes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Varela. Marco Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitório de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. If Valdo Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mulekes FC's Felippe Vieira got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo do Nascimento in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo de Alcântara saved Mulekes FC from getting behind. Marco Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório de Alcântara in the 78th minute of the match. The throw-in from Betão Queiroz in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mulekes FC's Ramón Cavalcante. With a little luck, Mulekes FC's Luís Gustavo de Alcântara got control of the ball when Betão Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Luís Fábio Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Sampaio in the 89th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Mulekes FC were the better team. Mulekes FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
